I think this game will upset a lot of PS3 naysayers, maybe of similar proportions as with regard to HD DVD vs Blu-Ray propaganda wars.

| NJ5 said: This comparison is ridiculous. Please ignore the right side for a moment, look at the pictures on the left side and ask yourself if those are quality screenshots. EDIT - I found a SD version of the trailer, and even this one looks better than those screenshots on the left side: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/6443.html Having seen countless animated gifs of KZ2 explosions in people's sigs, I can say the smoke/explosion effects at least look better in this trailer. But hey, this game still has great graphics even if they are not equal to the CGI trailer in some aspects.

No, the only footage of the 2005 trailer is in SD.

I just thought this needed further pointing out. Granted, I bet the final product will look great, since it has taken them an extra 4 years since then to build it. Although, it seems kinda desperate to doctor and use crappy SD screenshots of the CGI then compare them to the newer pics which are HD and unaltered.
I look at this game and think "WOW!".
I look at comment for this game and think "WOW!".
"Too Generic", "Too much Grey", "Too much Brown", "Looks boring".
I did not see these same comments for Gears 1 or 2 from these same people, but who cares really? At least I get to enjoy this game when it drops, just as I enjoyed Gears.
Anyways, I also think back a year or so ago, you know, when Sony announced the 10-year plan and the fact that it would take a few years before we all saw what the PS3 can bring to the table.
Back then we saw people writing things like "HAHA! Enjoy waiting 5+ years before seeing anything that looks better than the 360" and various other funny as all hell comments.
Now we are only 1+ years from that same point in time and already have a game arriving that tops everything that is available on all current Home Consoles.
Now we still have 3+ years before we hit that "5+ year" point that so many were "LOL"ing about. Can't wait to see what we get to laugh at then.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

I hate it when 1 fanboy says to the other fanboy, this game can't be produced on the other console. This goes for HD consoles only.

Yeah, bar publishing rights, there aren't a whole lot of things stopping games from crossing over either way. By the end of this gen there really won't be a whole lot of HD exclusives imo.
@Kyros
I think you are exactly right. Killzone 2 on 360 would have to have a much toned down experiance, with no destructable enviornments, less brilliant lighting, and less aware AI.
As far as games from SCEWWS goes, things are only going to get better. Thanks to the communication between every studio at Sony, games are going to continue to make leaps in every aspect. Everything for every dev is available to any other dev. This has got to be a huge reason why we are already seeing things like Uncharted 2, Infamous, Heavy Rain, and Killzone 2 this early this generation. I really can not wait to see were things go from here. Naughty Dog, Insominiac, Santamonica, and London Studios all have first hand experiance with the Killzone 2 engine, so any aspects of that engine they implement in their games will only be more refined. That was always the purpose of SCEWWS. Stop devs from wasting time trying to match what others did. Give them the tools to start from that point and let them only get better from there.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

Listen to this guy since he is a game designer! /sarcasm
KZ2 would look better on 360 but the PS3 version would have better AI.
