Forums - Sony - Sony Approves Incognito's Next Project

I never played warhawk, but this is good news. I've heard it was good

Warhawk is pretty good with it's 32 player matches on large or small maps where the drawdistance allows you to snipe somebody from the other end of the map.

The air combat can be intense, but I can't say I like the ground combat that much.

War of the Monsters 2 would make my day. Regardless of what Incog is working on, I bet it'll be great. I hope they don't pursue another Warhawk yet, though. I'd like to see something else.

This is great news, Warhawk is a blast to play. I just hope they have something new and interesting.

Hah. There goes the rumors that most of Incognito were merged with Santa Monica (a rumor running around neogaf for awhile).

I can't wait to find out what this is. Incognito have a nice history. They've worked on Twisted Metal and Warhawk in the past.

Twisted Metal Ps3 Confirmed? :P

Yeah, they could be co-developing it with Eat Sleep Play (David Jaffe's studio)

Jaffe is working on GoW III too, though.

Cory Barlog isn't doing GoW3?

I'd buy a new Twisted Metal the first day if it had a decent online environment.

Last we heard from Jaffe is that they don't even know what format it'll be released on (after which he went back into  denial that they are even working on the game, lol).

My gut tells me that it'll be like Warhawk.  Online only, with both retail and PSN version for $39.99.

I thought the rumour was that with Jaffe, who was actually at Ingocnito (well certainly at various points) loads of people left Incognito for Eat Sleep Play, but it is good to see they are still alive

I would like a massive Warhawk expansion, upping the players 32 per side, adding single player, those aircraft carriers seen in the original game and the sea vehicles

I heard that rumour to some time ago, it's supposed to be called Hardware 2.0 or something like that.

Maybe it'll be a porn game called Whore Walk.

Get it? Whore Walk, War Hawk?

Semi-OT: Cory Barlog quit. David Jaffe isn't directing God of War 3, he's just helping make it. You know, giving them advice and the like. Much like what Kojima plans to do with MGS5.
