I saw the videos on IGN. The refinery, and the village hub levels. Nothing of what I've seen had a horror feel to it. It was all action.... and seriously.. if you always have someone with you, co-op or not, how scary can it be? you know that someone has your back....ALWAYS.....

I think it will be loads of fun, especially with a good human co-op player. I intend to play the entire campaign with a friend and expect it to be a great time.

If either player dies, the game ends. So it kind of shifts the focus from watching over your own back to watching over yourself and your teammate. It will undoubtedly be more action-y than 4 but hopefully they still retain the intensity and desperation that made 4 so much fun. If this is half as good as RE4 it will be well worth my money.

I'm buying it, I'll just tell my self that I'm buying a 3rd person shooter action game and not a Survival horror one. I loved RE4 though, one of the best games ever for me.

It'll be better than RE4 simply because it's not a stupid spinoff. Chris and Wesker are back and the main story continues.

I've never been a fan of sci-fi horror (stuff like the T-virus, or the whole point of Left 4 Dead), but even then, you can just see that Resident Evil 5 is one of those games where they are *trying* to appeal to Western Audiences, which never winds up good.

From the new video on Xbox Live RE5 looks nothing short of amazing and I can't wait to play it.

This is scary not because of the game but because of the awful controls,lack of ability to aim weapons,lack of camera view thats why it was scary,play MGS4 with those and it wont be fun will it?
