New review score:

Level # 34

Killzone 2 - 8 / 9
Street Fighter IV - 8 / 9
New Play Control: Pikmin - 7
The House of the Dead: Overkilll - 3
Persona 4 - 10 / 9
World of Goo - 9
Rolando - 8
Fear 2: Project Origin - 7
Lord of the Rings: Conquest - 6
Rise of the Argonauts - 5
Harvest Moon DS: Island of Happiness - 4

Is it time to stop the overhype yet or do you really want to be that disappointed when it comes out?

Oh noes not an 8.5! FLOP!!!

Come on. Can you name me one game with every single score over 90? Just because one reviewer doesn't give it above 9- it's not like they gave it a 7, right?- doesn't mean it's a flop.

Nobody thought this would get all 90+ scores.

OPM Netherlands gives it 9.1 / 10:

gamepro gives it a 5/5 but the review has not been scanned yet,so we should wait till it's scanned

boycott metacritic? www.metacritic.com ?

oops.

People often misinterpret that. I mean that "X game got 88 and Y game got 86, so X is better" is not true. Metacritic is not a judge of quality, it is a judge of reviewer opinion, and a place where you can see what reasonably decent reviewers think of a game.

I even put in "as a judge of quality"!

Oh also, I have a bet with Ronster316, and as long as the metascore remains at 90+, I win.

I dunno, I think it's the best way to judge a game without playing it.  Everyone has a unique opinion, but you can sort most games fairly accurately with those kinds of sites.

If people are arguing over scores of 88 and 86, though, that's rather dumb, I agree.

There are massive and popular games like COD4 and GeoW2 wich have not get over 9 on all reviews. There are like 7.5s and 8s. It's not a big deal if this game gets 8.5. And it's still very good score...not bad.

Probably the tastiest part of the Killzone Cocktail is the Multiplayer. Imagine if Call Of Duty 4 and Team Fortress 2 had a baby, which they then abandoned and as a result had to learn a few new tricks to survive. That’s what Killzone Multiplayer is like.

Killzone 2 will be the first time I plug in my PS3 for the best part of 2 Months. And to be honest, I cant bloody wait to play it. Question, Would I have needed to Play the first game or the PSP one in order to understand this one?

Not really. Here you can watch the cutscenes for the first Killzone,

You mean the PS2 ?, I've played Killzone and based on that  I don't think the game is too story intensive .

Then perhaps read it all. There's a lot of back story leading up to the events of the games.
