people that dont need wifi?
imagine that!?!?  most people dont use wi-fi for anything other than their laptops.  they still use wired for consoles and desktops.  especially since most cable providers end up installing the modem and everything all right by the tv so the short ethernet cable is plenty.  ethernet is the best choice for online gaming.

people that don't play online (hardly since xbox live if often said to be superior because omygod, a text chat, and crossgame voice chat).
lets see, the 360 has 28 million consoles sold, and only about 18 million LIVE subscribers, so 10 million people obviously don't play online

people that spend alot of money and time building their house with ethernet ports everywhere that can put a CAT-5 out of every wall.
what?  this isn't even needed.  most people's console is in the living room.  if it is in a bedroom or basement, running a single cat 5 cable through a vent or something is very painless and simple

and people that have have their PC their modem and console in the same small basement.

???

Well spoken my friend. I don't know any of my buddies, who uses the wifi feature for their consoles and 80% of them not even for the PC.

LOL  @ Sqrl edit !!!!!

For the record I just got OFF Wifi, I have a 2Wire At&T WiFi/Router.

The only thing using WiFi is my Laptops and Wii.

I even have my Directv HD-DvR on Ethernet.

Ran one cord threw the ceiling from the router to living room to a split so my DVR/PS3/360 are all connected and man what a Difference!

Warhawk is sooooo much better, I finally have On-Demand HD, and my Netflix is faster.

If you spend the money for your setup, then you included Ethernet in that cost, because it's the way to go.

Its all bullshit, Nintendo have slapped Wi fi, bluetooth, etc in the cheapest system available.

Wifi is commonly used and should be included, cable internet should not be the only option

guess whats more common...people who use ethernet cables... and nintendo didnt include an ethernet port

uhhhhhh?  Bluetooth.....what?  sarcasm correct? ~

Also Wii is not the cheapest system available..

I think more people use Ethernet then WiFi in their homes.. So ethernet would be most commonly used.

MS already proven that typical consumer won't notice hidden costs and fees when blinded by lower price tag.

There are no hidden costs, all the 360 models are functional and they don't require any other Microsoft accessories to work.

That's not true. You can't play my favorite 360 game (Lost Odyssey) without a hard drive. So there is a $100 hidden fee to get a hard drive just to be able to play the game.

Yeah, I don't use or need wifi. And if I did "need" it, I'd buy the adapter. I can't imagine that the people who own HDTVs and gaming consoles and god knows how many games and other tech gadgets, can't somehow scrounge up enough scratch to buy the fuckin' adapter if they feel like they are in a situation where they need it. All this bitching for what?

No verb in this sentence - logical error. Self destruction in 5...4...3...2...1...

But seriously why do you need a hard drive for LO ? As far as I know it's not required, unless you want to stealth mention the long loading times....

Oops. I meant to add a "play" in there.

But no you can't play it. I let my friend borrow it (who has an arcade) and it wouldn't work. Being that LO works with my 360 and every other game works with his, I came to the conclusion that it wouldn't work it.

The only reason that it might not work is that the save files are too large.  But I am not sure that the save files would take up 512mb.
