people that dont need wifi? imagine that!?!? most people dont use wi-fi for anything other than their laptops. they still use wired for consoles and desktops. especially since most cable providers end up installing the modem and everything all right by the tv so the short ethernet cable is plenty. ethernet is the best choice for online gaming.
people that don't play online (hardly since xbox live if often said to be superior because omygod, a text chat, and crossgame voice chat). lets see, the 360 has 28 million consoles sold, and only about 18 million LIVE subscribers, so 10 million people obviously don't play online
people that spend alot of money and time building their house with ethernet ports everywhere that can put a CAT-5 out of every wall. what? this isn't even needed. most people's console is in the living room. if it is in a bedroom or basement, running a single cat 5 cable through a vent or something is very painless and simple
and people that have have their PC their modem and console in the same small basement.

Well spoken my friend. I don't know any of my buddies, who uses the wifi feature for their consoles and 80% of them not even for the PC.

For the record I just got OFF Wifi, I have a 2Wire At&T WiFi/Router.
The only thing using WiFi is my Laptops and Wii.
I even have my Directv HD-DvR on Ethernet.
Ran one cord threw the ceiling from the router to living room to a split so my DVR/PS3/360 are all connected and man what a Difference!
Warhawk is sooooo much better, I finally have On-Demand HD, and my Netflix is faster.
If you spend the money for your setup, then you included Ethernet in that cost, because it's the way to go.
