Id kinda agree with sony on this as ive said what theyve just said for like... 2 years now? and tbh, with xbox ive hated the fact i had to pay £50 for my wireless connection and £40 a year for my live. even the extra £15 for a play and charge kit was harsh imo. why do microsoft have to sponge us for every penny? dont the consoles make enough money as it is? make live free and ill love them forever. atm its a love/hate relationship

This.
Microsoft is Banned for trolling! LOL Well they have to come up with some excuse for not including WIFI. Every other technologically signifigant gadget has it included these days right? Do they even consider that many of their hardware is purchased as gifts by people who are tech retarded and have no real idea what is the best for the people who use the devices. I guess that they don't care because any system sold gets people on their green train. Red light means stop!

lol more like two adult film stars fighting over whose got the least amount of diseases.
Honestly though, both MS and Sony have advantages and disadvantages to there strategies as it applies here, it all depends on who is buying for what reason.
PS3 and X360 are very similar, but too complicated for most people outside the internet to bother about one-upmanship on the consoles.
Complication is not an issue when it comes to the Wii (the most complicated thing seems to be to remember to install the sensor bar) and that is probably a reason why it's doing so well.
Most people don't want their lives to be complicated more than necessary by potentially useless fiddley gadgets.

MS already proven that typical consumer won't notice hidden costs and fees when blinded by lower price tag.

While I enjoy Blu Ray and have a few movies, I wouldn't have bought a Blu Ray at all until it hit the $100 if I didn't get a PS3. |
Buy cheapest access point and connect it with short cable to x360.

Access points are rather hard to find in town cheap. I did find an original Xbox wireless adapter and it even plays nice with my 20gb PS3!!! Just $35.99 at my local Fry's Electronics.
Thats no excuse for MS not to have any built-in Wi-fi in the XBOX 360.
The DS wi-fi
Psp has wi-fi
Ps3 has wi-fi
Wii has wi-fi
The Zune has Wi-fi..
So why so expensive for a darn antenna that attaches to the 360? $100 ouch, thats why I dont have one on my system.
Everything else in my house is wireless from my Laptop,PSP,DS,Wii,itouch..but my 360.
Not only the wireless adapter is expensive try buying a 512mb memory card is still at a total of $50 its insane.
