Honestly though, both MS and Sony have advantages and disadvantages to there strategies as it applies here, it all depends on who is buying for what reason.
PS3 and X360 are very similar, but too complicated for most people outside the internet to bother about one-upmanship on the consoles.
Complication is not an issue when it comes to the Wii (the most complicated thing seems to be to remember to install the sensor bar) and that is probably a reason why it's doing so well.
Most people don't want their lives to be complicated more than necessary by potentially useless fiddley gadgets.
