Forums - Sales - Power Up: Could '09 be the year PS3 gets back into the game?

2008 will be the year of the PlayStation 3http://i.i.com.com/cnwk.1d/Ads/common/dotclear.gif" width="0" height="0">

Even though Sony's PlayStation 3 was slow out of the gates, it has found its stride lately and performed extremely well over the past few months. And as the latest NPD numbers show, more good times are in store. But in the end, it's what's coming that matters and if you ask me, Sony has everything in place to have the best year of any console maker .

And thats just one. I can find a million articles and forum posts that said the exact same thing 12 months ago for 2008. It never ends, this is what happens when you become synonomous with gaming the way the PS brand did the last two generations. You dont just get the benefit of the doubt, you get more. Much more.

Twelve months from now we will be back to square one doing this whole song and dance yet again. There IS no year of the PS3, the places have been decided sales wise. Enjoy the games for crying out loud.
