I've never heard of the site. This review must be breaking the embargo, right? Maybe they don't think Sony will give them a hard time because of the score. If history is any judge, other smaller/unknown sites will give this game extremely low scores to drive hits as well. This is why I embrace the idea of an official review thread per game. Otherwise every high and low review will be plastered on the front page.

I hope Killzone is as good as they say, but I am still a bit skeptical. Graphics look great, but some of the voice acting sounds annoying.

I'd like to count this is as a positive review, but I don't give them any credibility :/ From the guys who saw halo 3 and say "meh", then turn around and give it a 9.Jesus... ug... I'm waiting for bigger sites.

I think rather than raw number scores, you should just look at the order in which they put the shooters. Obviously the raw numbers are on the high side, but IGN and "reliable" (even they mess up sometimes) sites will give it in the mid 9's most likely as well. But like I said, they seem like shooter fanboys and they think its apparently better than Halo. Take that however you want.

Secondly how does a no name publisher like this get an early copy of killzone 2.

Thirdly, any game that says "It makes -insert current best game on competitirs console - looks like a high school attempt..." is a fanboy and a half.

Indeed, that seems to be the case. Further, if it's good enough for Metacritic, it's good enough for most folk, and this review is already on Metacritic. Sure, it may not be a high-profile gaming site, but it is a gaming site

Actually they gave Halo 3 and Gears 2 insanely high reviews. If anything they are shooter fanboys.
