To be fair, they give really high scores above the average. Seriously, a 9.7 for Gears 2? Definitely not justified. Hate to say it, but we should probably just wait for scores from big sites (Gamespot, IGN).

^Lol, this is going to get 9+ from IGN and GameSpot. If 1UP were under their old management, they would give it a B+, but luckily they're under new management and hopefully don't hate shooters as much.
