why was my thread randomly locked?

All I was saying was PS2's record wasn't gone.....if a thread can be made to celebrate the making of a record

why can't one be made to celebrate there being no record in the first place?

Your mistake was reminding the Sonyhaters on this site the greatness that was and still is PS2, they like to forget and pretend that the PS3 is all Sony has to offer. Fanboy mods nothing new.
