I applied to the Art Institute of Washington in Arlington, VA, got in and I have to say it was nothing more than a poorly maintained money grubbing college that didn't kniw shit from shinola. They gave me the run around for every little thing and told me off if it wasn't good enough for them. I am now happily at George Mason U. A public state uni is better and more affordable than a private POS.

Edit:  Take it from me, the Ai branch will hype you and hang you out to dry.

Got O week next week. I've been told its more parties than orientation :P

I applied for Business Managment and Marketing on Warsaw University, supposeably the best university in th Country.....turned out that it's a waste of time so i applied later on for urban space planning and managment, same University.

Turned out to be a good choice.

I'm still in shock! I just checked up on my online application thing and I'v got a conditional offer from both of the two places I applied!

I need to get 240 points to get into Bristol (my 1st choice), and 160 for Bournemouth which I should be able to manage (still doesn't mean I'l have my heart in my mouth when opening my results)

I wasn't expecting to get into any of the courses due to how over subscribed they are let alone both! :O

When I did my Uni application last year I applied to five and got unconditional from all of them. I put my two preferred Uni's down as primary and reserve and thankfully I got into my first choice, although to be honest I wouldn't have been that bothered about getting into my reserve choice either!

Were you coming straight from A-levels? cos I have only heard of unconditional offers being given to people who have their results the year before due to a gap year or foundation or whatever.

Yeah straight from A-levels into university, that's strange because I got a reply from all of mine that I had applied to... Did you just apply to those two? My friend does animation at Salford and he is really enjoying it in his first year so sounds like a good one to be going in for!

I only applied to UCSD (University of California, San Diego). Yup, put all my eggs in one basket.
