Well it doesn't help that most outside of America treat Americans very poorly by saying stuff like that.

I'm pretty sure that has something to do with the American Government, not with its people.
I guess I'll have to "import" it then...

Yea and think of us poor Canadians who get sucked into all the hatred! :(
OT: Why if they release some of these games only in japan to the put the words like on the game and classic controller in english? or does this happen with most games in japan?
PSWii60 owner! woot
pay-to-play? Yeah Capcom should take a look where the franchise is a monster and get it through there heads that they wont be seeing those sales on a home console. MH seems to be like Pokemon, the console version do ok but the Handheld version are monsters. (Not Pokemon class of monster but then again nothing else is :P)

Which in itself is grossly exagerrated by the terrible foreign media coverage. (I was shocked was the media "reported" on America while I was abroad.)
Even if you don't like the government, why hate the people. It's like hating Chinese because their government is communist (or at least were).

Short temper? Eh? I made a sarcastic response to your rather silly comment and I have a short temper? You have a very broad definition of what qualifies as "temper", eh?
"Short temper" would be more like:
"You ignorant Eurotwat, why is it that you have such a tremendous inferiority complex that you have to bitch, whine, moan and generally carry on about ignorant Americans at every turn (I'm sure this isn't the first time you've made a snide remark along these lines, right?), then turn around and accuse the person playfully mocking your over-seriousness as the one with the Norwegian-sized chip on his shoulder?"
But, no, I just poked fun at your silly 'America is dumb' super-generalization that does, indeed, plague a great deal of the European cognicenti/chattering class that should know better. My guess is I called you out, struck a nerve, and now you want to re-characterize my comment as intemperate when it was anything but.
As for blaming this mindset on the American government, uh, no, Europeans have long gone on about the lazy, fat, dumb American which has absolutely nothing at all to do with who's in office over here. Hell, I've heard my Euro (and Canadian!) friends go on like this but they, of course, are sure to let me know that, natch, I don't count in that over-generalization (just, apparently, the other 300 million-odd mouth breathers that populate the area between NYC and LA.)
Dissapointing, but to be expected from Capcom in their poor decision making this generation. Risk Management and Anti-Localization philosiphies seem to be their mainstay in playing it safe.
Perhaps MHG for the Wii was just a desperate effort to bring in some fresh income while all their assets remain trapped in larger HD projects. If they were taking it serioulsy it wouldn't just be the first game but both predicessors to MH3.
This coupled with the no-western release of the superior Wii versions of RE0 and RE only add more insult to injury this generation. Hopefully MH3 does well enough in the west to make them change their mind but its doubtful since I imagine we won't even see aired adds for the game here.
Tsk. Tsk. Capcom, we grow ever more tired of your modest Wii support then not even bothered to bring to the west what little you give.
