@shadowblind

dunno but with today's famitsu sales out WKC has crossed 300K in Japan ALONE

tales is a ESTABLISHED franchise......WKC did in one region what tales still hasn't done in all its regions put together

imagine if it was on PS3....imagine the sales in Japan of the "first" JRPG on it....also it being an established franchise helps too

Yeah :(

At first I was glad to have a Tales game on the only HD console I had, but well, in all honesty for the sake of the series I wish they had.

Though you can't blame it all on the 360. Namco had the brilliant idea to market this game as well as Digital Spray marketed You are Empty. In other words, by clusterf***ing it.

I hope they release a new HD Tales for PS3. Multi would be nice, but it doesn't much matter to me anymore now, with both consoles. But I'd flop just as bad if they don't market the damn thing :/

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

i don't understand why they don't port it to PS3,,,this is not even about the sales,,,,this is about an IP dying due to lack of people playing it(MS has surely paid enough that they don't have to worry about profits)

but if this keeps happening people will even forget that this game even existed.

In brighter news the Wii is obviously capable of selling Tales games (after all the Symphonia spinoff is heading to 500K), and Tales of Ten does look like it could be great.

discontinued because of abysmal sales.....well at least they made of profit from the M$ moneyhat lol

i kid i kid

Should have been multi.

I had to import a console for this game, but I'm glad I did that.

It deserved to sell a lot better.
Not sure Europe sales (if it finally gets released one day) will contribute much, Europe hasn't had that many Tales games released to strengthen the franchise there.

@DmeisterJ

I can just imagine the look on their faces after the "29/40" JRPG destroyed sales of their ones lol

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Horrible news - it's a shame most of X360 users didn't give TOV a proper chance.

@shadowblind, if u dont believe me. just call gamestop yourself and they will tell u what i did.

Well, while I can honestly say that ToV doesn't hold my interest at all, I think it is a shame that a game that is, supposedly, of such high quality is being discontinued. And it wasn't even released in EU, which only makes it weirder.
