My understanding is that Starcraft 2 development is more advanced so that will be the Blizzard game released in 2009 but you can remove Diablo 3 from your list.

It will be the top rpg of 2010 ( ahead of FFXIII I am pretty sure, the Diablo serie keeps picking up new fans while the FF one is no longer at its peak based on the sales of the last 3..). D3 will benefit from the fact that the competition on PC is nill too, so every PC gamer will pretty much buy it...( 7 years after D2 release Blizzard just had to release the first information about D3 and D2 battlechest shot up to the top 5 pc game sales the following week...).

So true.

I'm also afraid that Diablo 3 is going to come in 2010

My own top 10 most anticipated:

1. Alan Wake
2. Wolfenstein
3. Dragon Age
4. Aliens: Colonial Marines
5. Empire: Total War
6. Bioshock 2
7. Resident Evil 5
8. Dead Island
9. Mafia 2
10 Demigod

Everything will be on PC. ^^
(Except RE5 in 2010 probably)

1. Wii Sports Resort - 25 million copies lifetime
2. The Sims 3 - 15 million copies
3. CoD: MW2 - 12 million copies
4. Starcraft 2 - 12 million
5. GrTurismo 5 - 7 million
6. FIFA 2010 - 7 million
7. Madden2010 - 6 million
8. Residnt Evil 5 - 5 million
9. Halo 3: OSDT - 5 million
10. Bioshock 2 - 4.5 million

This don't seem right though - where are all the Nintendo games and also there should be more multiplatform shooters n' stuff released in 2009 that could do 5 mill?

I think that's pretty good... Sure you're not over-estimating Bioshock 2? Well, the Ps3 one might sell a fair amount more this round.

 

And Starcraft 2 = 12M? Whoa, I doubt that. That's more than the original SC you know...

 

Also - you're missing PES, and possibly DQIX

I dunno lol. I just assumed The Sims 2 had sold 20 million copies or more since shio always keeps droping around these insane numbers for PC sales lol.

For me, Half-Life 2: Episode 3 is at the very top in can't-wait-o-meter!
Good list shio, this will be a killer year for gaming, all those RPG's and FPS' makes me all tingly just thinking about them!
I'm gonna have to call in sick for a few months!
