Somebody posted a Digg article linking to our website saying "Wii is only 21,000 (or whatever) units behind 360"

Don't post crap like that...you're ruining our site's reputation by spamming links to our site on Digg for petty articles like this.

Just wait until it ACTUALLY passes the 360...

You kill our site with the Digg effect for no purpose, especially since the article got buried off the frontpage because it's pointless.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

*posts a digg article for every console sold until it has outsold the 360*

"Wii is only 20,999 units behind 360"
Take one down pass it around
"Wii is only 20,998 units behind 360"

To cash in my CC rewards points for $300 in Circuit City gift cards to purchase a 360 or not: That is the question.

i think it's news that the "lowly" wii is kicking ass and taking names post ever damn wii that is sold like ceres said.....

I tryed to alter the totals on Wikipedia to what VG puts them at and its says 1.You have to put a viable source to where the numbers are from and 2.VGCHARTZ and NEXGENWARS are not viable sources.I think if we can get that to just NEXGENWARS is not a viable source thats a victory for us and i dont see why this site isnt viable because we track pretty close to NPD and MC anyway.

Anyway this is pointless except it does get the VGChartz name out there which is a slight plus.

End of 2014 Hardware Predictions (03/03/14)

PlayStation 4: 12-15million

Xbox One: 7-10 million

Wii U: 8-9 million (Changed 01/04/2014 from 7-9 --> 8-9 million)

I think this would be a big plus. To be called "not a viable source" on wikipedia is a bad thing for the site I think.

Currently Playing: Skies of Arcadia Legends (GC), Dragon Quest IV (DS)

Last Game beaten: The Rub Rabbits(DS)

You should just show them good and block incoming traffic from digg unless something notable does happen.  Digg and its users are pretty worthless anyways.

yeah, that's not cool.  IOI or a mod should send them an email about that. Try to prove to them how this site tries to have the most uptodate sales numbers.

@Nintendo fanboy: Indeed, to be called "not a viable source" in Wikipedia is REALLY bad thing. Even an insult.

By the way, what would Wikipedia think as a viable source then? Sony? Micro$oft?

Haha! Have you guys heard about the CIA and governmet debacle on Wiki btw?

Ouch. Though it's pretty funny that whenever someone quotes Wikipedia the inevitable response is always "wiki can't be used as a source, it's not reliable". You'd think they'd be a bit more understanding. :)
