Well, I actually bought Rayman Raving Rabbids and Red Steel on November 17, 2006... two days before Wii actually released. Thanks Ubisoft... I guess.

And I did buy my Wii on launch day, the first console I've done that for. I was always a late adopter for my consoles, waiting at least a year after it released until I bought it.

Guitar Hero: On Tour (I didn't even know I bought it on launch day. I just saw it and bought it. Only later did i realize it was the first day the game was out)
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia

Super smash bros. brawl is the only game ive gotten on day one. well i did get the wii on day one and twilight princess so i guess thats two games then.

Good, because I was just about to totally flame you. I mean, I was prepared to even get banned at the sake of my merciless flaming towards your Wii hate. Totally worth it. Anything negative towards Wii will not be tolerated, as those who blame Wii Fit will tell you. Wii will live on and run into the sunset in persuit of the spirit of youth! I thought this would be the more common response. It certainly applies for me. Pretty much everything i buy, i buy day one, unless it conflicts with something i bought day one, or imminently planned on buying

For example, last year i bought No More Heroes, Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, FFTA2, Izuna 2, Wario Land: Shake It!, and Sonic Unleashed on day one. The two other games i bought, Okami and Sonic Chronicles, i did so later because they clashed. Okami came out too soon before Mario Kart Wii (and you need quite a bit of time to fully appreciate it), and Sonic Chronicles came out days after Wario Land. In the next six months, i plan on picking up Fire Emblem: SD, MadWorld, Wii Sports Resort, and The Conduit, and Punch-Out!! on day one, and to pick up Sonic and the Black Knight and Play on Wii Pikmin (both the same month as MadWorld) at later dates

After reading through everyones, its easy to see we all have some varying tastes. Obviously everyone is different, but i didn't expect it to be that different. Also I just read a few in hear that I forgot i had a day one purchase. I got Kingdom Hearts 2 and The Frozen Throne.

Wow, I couldn't even make a list. I buy almost every game I own day one. It would be easier for me to make a list of games I didn't buy day one. If they weren't important enough for me to get day one, then they usually just weren't important enough to get at all. Money fortunately has never caused me to wait.

brawl, i was gonna buy it a week later, but my brother was so excited he forced me to go day one and buy it
