Forums - Sales - Xbox and Nintendo magazine subscriptions up, PS subscriptions down

Maybe because ps owners don't need the demo's they offer (download it from psn). That is why I have stopped. Anyways I get my info from the net - I pay for Gamespot so it's way more convenient.

I'll be getting an EGM subscription soon, because I get a free subscription to any gaming mag when I signed up for my local game store's membership program. $20 for game discounts, trade-in bonuses, free disc cleaning, free subscription to a mag, other bonuses...I figured after buying a few games per year, it's worth it for sure.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I guess Nintendo are selling better cuz kids like to look at the pictures and read some features that can easy be founbd compares to the internet if you are only 10.
My son used to love reading all kids of gaming magazines until he started using the internet a lot and now doesn't bother.
The only way I'd now buy a Nintendo mag is if it offered me a demo disk I could play instead of pointless preview DVDs.

I don't bother with mags. I have the net for all my info needs. The only plus to mags is that they can be taken anywhere.

Bet with OriGin: Within 1 year Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be ahead of Mario Kart Wii (when aligning the one whole year from each region). 2 week ban from Vgchartz for the loser. Edit: Darn! Looks like OriGin will win.

Japans weird, the most technological advanced nation lacks space and yet they still buy mags. (well not for long)

May be true, but what does that has to do with UK, what this topic is about? Well i myself do like reading magazines rather than internet. Although, with Wiis internet channel, i can have same kind of relaxment on my couch, while browsing the web, that i can have while reading magazines. Well, maybe even better, since i don't have to hold the magazine above my face. But magazines still beat the internet in many ways.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

The subscriptions are down in the UK. misleading topic title.

Like saying that PS3 has sold more than the Wii!!!!! in the topic title.

And in the thread say that it's the "other Europe" section.

Love how this evolved into an attack on magazines to defend Sony. Theorize what you like but I can garantee you though that people aren't subscribing less to Sony's publication just because they've realized the folly of paper and ink.

Nintendo magazine doesn't come with demos, its sold on content alone. It is a solid update on games, not terrible useful outside of that but let's you know about games you'd never knew existed surfing the web. Also, Nintendo's magazine is slated to go online as well. I stopped subscribing because it just got old. The latest issue has the best picture of Albert Wesker I've ever seen on the cover though, If anyone could find me a full version of the pic it for download I would greatly appreciate it.
