Maybe they'll be able to complete the 360 version at the same time as it takes to translate the PS3 version, it took a year to make a PS3 port of Bioshock and I don't think they started production right away so they ported it in less time. You never know?

Have they even started to port it to the 360 yet. If not, I doubt it releases this year outside of Japan.

Well they said they'll port it once the japanese ps3 version finished so no, it hasn't started yet.

i might try this game... maybe... if its anywhere near as good as lost odyssey was and yes i know its FF!!! which is bigger than any game on Gods green earth but im not a big jrpg player i usually hate them

Color me skeptical. If there's one thing that I've learned from my years as a Square fan, it's never to trust any release date they announce that's less than a year in the future, unless a playable demo has been shown or released in some form. Sometimes it happens, but usually not, and there has been no playable FFXIII demo yet.

You guys are funny. This game will be coming out in NA about Q4 2010. Square usualy takes about 6 months to localize their Final Fantasies. Take into account the 360 version and you have aproximately a year between the releases.

The thing is that Microsoft most likely didn't pay for a half-assed port. SE will do the same thing Rockstar did with GTA: they'll delay the release until both version are prtty much identical.

I can only hope, but I am still highly doubtful about a 2009 English language release anywhere.

What port? Last I checked, S-E said the game used the PC as its main development, so the PS3 version is actually a port as well.
