Intrepid reader Yves Milord snapped a pic of what might be the first error message seen on a Microsoft Surface.

It's not a system-wide fail, and we still like the Surface, but who doesn't love an error during promotion? Microsoft "goons" apparently hustled Yves immediately out after he snapped this shot, before he could do any more damage.

Every console fanboy is gotta post against the comptitors console, no? reddevil is anti 360, gebx is anti PS3.

Didn't we have failed xbox360 during CES?? This is funny, but let's be serious, how often has this happened to your laptop?

To me twice a day on Vista, so I stopped finding it amusing at all.

 

although I do agree, this isn't a 'gaming news'. but one could argue that there were games showing on that screen. :)

It's still in beta, my god. I guess you could call it funny but it's not like the error message is hilarious and beta products do this kind of thing.

What makes it funny is that it's always Microsoft's products that go doing this during demonstrations. The all time classic was the Windows 98 unveil at COMDEX. Bill Gates and some Microsoft schmoe were giving a presentation highlighting Windows 98's improved reliability and improved support for USB devices, when the schmoe plugged in a USB scanner and the 98 box promptly BSoD'ed.

You know he was probably fired afterwards, or decapitated.

This crap ALWAYS happens to Microsoft. Sorry, but I think that is pretty funny.
