Well, no, you don't need to explain yourself, but I did for the sake to explain my position. You're most certainly entitled to disagree with me, or just ignore that enormous hole in their story (I liked everything else).

the king usually let other people test his drink and food to test for poison
but since its a blood compact he can't so....

then shouts "Die Pig!!!" while slaughtering said girl while laughing is my hero..
plus he was always on the front lines when destroying villages,
and massacreing children.
btw the children he massacred are young boys who joined his army at a young age for training..
he massacred them and placed the blame on another country they have a peace treaty with to start a war..

and trying to take him down with three teams of 6 heroes is intense..
18 heroes in all!

No body explains why Sephiroth is the best. Because he has a big sword? Because he has long grey hair? Why?

Kefka killed lots and lots of people for lots of reasons that probably make sense to a megalomaniac general that drsses up like a clown and turned once immortal beings into rocks so he could wouldn't have to use his own legs (read: Magi-tek mechs). One man who over threw an empire, not because he has some connection to an alien super power that drove him mad... because he was so crazy to begin with that he went looking for external powers that would drive a normal man crazy. Sephiroth didn't ride chocobo's. Kefka doesn't cry out to his mama.

Sephiroth was taken down by just cloud. It took all of the light warriors to take out Sephiroth, and one of them (Terra) was pretty much a god (esper).

Kain....from Legacy of Kain. I know...he isn't quite the villain that Mobius is....but in the first game he was.

Never played entirely through Suikoden 2, apparently just as good/better than 1/3, but I could not stand the military battles. At all. If we're going on looks alone, pretty boy villians Yuber(Suikoden 1-3) looks cooler than Sephiroth.

The thing was Kefka did alot of things but I did not really feel anything like "wow that man is evil". Sephiroth killed people with his sword he did not really need a empire to do his things. He killed Aeris one of the main characters and he destroyed Clouds hometown. The main thing is that I did not feel connected to the people Kefka killed and that is the main thing. But Kefka is my second favourit evil guy. I can add that I cried when Aeris died. YES I HAVE SAID IT NOW!

You just described my feelings about the two better than I could.  However, to expand, Kefka wasn't born with some super awesome powers.  He worked for everything.  He was a heartless, evil, and completely insane monster who murdered millions of people and took over the world in the process of becomming a living god.  I mean seriously, the scale of his actions, from a pathetic lacky to a god among men, is insane.  Also, he has some of the greatest evil quotes ever:
