Do you really want to wake up next to her, go to work with her, work with her, have lunch with her, going back to work with her, again work with her, go home with her, have dinner with her, watch some tv with her & sleep with her? and then the cycle will repeat itself for the rest of your life... and trust me.. being 24 hours around her all day ruines the sexlife.. I have been there.. we lasted 3 months before we broke up...

Just go for it, worst case scenario (well most plausible worst case scenario) is that things will be awkward if she wasn't interested or you broke up, and that can be sorted out if you have the right attitude and don't let it bother you.
