All these games I absolutely loved.
Then there are other games that I never played... such as the DQ series (I have an 80% translated emu :p)

Other reasons:
16 bit graphics >> 3D imho
Midi music >> soso music in HQ (though there are games with great music... I just feel that it's more frequent to have a good game music with midi than with HQ)

I loved my other consoles, but the SNES has a special place. (the NES too as it was my first).

N64 - So many great memories and just an enjoyable system with some of the best games I've ever played.

N64. So many classics, from zelda to goldeneye

SNES.

Had by far the biggest number of titles I really enjoyed...plus it was the time when my enjoyment playing videogames was at its full speed.

Dreamcast, I had only nintendo consoles but when I bought a Dreamcast was a whole new gaming experience, especially with shenmue and RE code veronica.

For me it's the N64. The jump to 3-D was an amazing revolution for me. I can't remember being wowed as much by any other game before or since as I was Mario 64. The PS3 is a close second for me. The jump to HD gaming as well as providing me with Blu-ray for my other favorite hobby (movies) has been fantastic. As for my least favorite systems, believe it or not coming from someone who just declared a Nintendo system their favorite of all time, the Wii is near the bottom of my list. I have owned pretty much every system except for 3DO, Neo Geo and XBOX 360 and aside from the superb Mario Galaxy and Twilight Princess, the Wii has been extremely "meh" for me.

I'd have to say the SNES, its one of the systems I spent a bunch of time playing..RPGs- FFIII, Chrono, sport games, harvest moon, uniracers, mario kart, super mario world, many many many more best system of all time for me.

It would probably be followed by either the N64 or PS1/PS2

SNES-DKC

PS1 or PS2.....games on both PS1 and PS2 are the best.......PS1 was my first non-nintendo console.....i was really happy i made a shift to the PS1

PS2 is just the god of all the console in terms of games,controllers,reliability etc.
Gran Turismo 3 & 4 = the best games ever

EDIT: i may also include the PSP due to the strong titles,good quality graphics and i may add that PSP can acess the gba,gbc,sega,n64,nes,snes games....so it is simply the best handheld without doubt
