Stickball, the interview and Shadowblind's title were both talking about it not coming to the PS3 yet (S-blind mentioned the console, not resolve). Did you not expect people to discuss the possibilities? or want it to come? or PS3 fans to come in here when their console is being discussed?

As for Sony fans posting in the Microsoft forum more than MS fans do, blame the front page. That's how I got here.

I have to agree with Mr. Stickball. Every 360 RPG thread gets over run by PS3 fanboys. The MGS4 strawman isn't going to cut it with me. MGS4 is one game. Every JRPG that hits 360 gets a thread and it gets hijacked by PS3 fans claiming to be RPG fans complaining about the game not being on PS3 or hitting 360 first. If you aren't going to discuss the game and all you are going to do is go "I'll wait for PS3 version" "Why isn't this on PS3" etc etc. Just don't post in the thread. Wait for the PS3 version if/when it comes out. Make a thread in the Sony forums and stop trolling the Microsoft Forums. It's beyond old at this point.

Did you notice the title also had the interviews contents, and there were 15 different questions asked, with only ONE of those involving the PS3? Yet the vast majority of comments from PS3 owners had to do with only that one question. You yourself was the first person to post, and only dealt with that ONE question/answer and nothing to do with the actual gameplay of said game.

You make alot of valid points, but the fact still stands it goes both ways, when Versus XIII is talked about guess what happens with the Xbox 360s owners? mmhmm you guessed it.

Basicly people dont want to miss out on the fun and thats all it comes down to.

I jumped in for Star Ocean 4 because even with the chance of a PS3 port later down the road i dont want to wait because well i just dont want to lol, but thats MY OPINION and CHOICE if others DO NOT WANT to buy an Xbox 360 and wait for a PS3 port who are YOU to try and stop them? you just cant simple as that.

I agree to some degree of what you're saying though about the "derail" thing, but you gotta keep in mind, this continues to happen to MGS4 and rarely but sometimes it happens to Versus XIII aswell, i can quote quite a high number of X360 only owners saying how much they want MGS4 or Versus XIII and Cant wait for there PORT of the game even though theres almost no chance of a port at all. but nobody can stop them because its there choice. so take that as you will.

I guess its understandable if you look at it this way... "PlayStation 3 owners want So4 but at the moment its Only on Xbox 360, so what should a PS3 only owner do? "Wish/Wait for a SO4 port to the PS3 or Buy the cheapst SKU model and only buy So4 ending up @ 260 dollars or a lil more" now for Xbox 360 only owners things get ...not good... "Xbox 360 owners want Versus XIII and/or MGS4 but at the moment its Only on PlayStation 3 so what should a X360 owner do? "Wish/Wait for a Port of MGS4 and/or Versus XIII or Buy a PS3 Model which will be around 460 Dollars or more."

Thats why Xbox 360 only owners are more bitter then PS3 owners when it comes to exclusives and where they go, in the end its the X360 only owners atm who have to rank up more cash then the PS3 owners, then again some PS3 only owners just dont want to own a 360 for whatever reasons they may be therefore it becomes an issuse.

Well thats my opinion on the subject, but like i said dont throw me in the fray with them, i made a jump in for Star Ocean 4 because I GO WHERE MY FAVE GAMES GO, and if it means becoming a Dual-HD console owner then so be it, i'll never buy a Wii though.

Lets face it; any great game that isn't first party on either 360 or PS3 is gonna have lots of people wanting and promising, no matter how debased their promise is in terms of logic, that its gonna come to the other system. Thats how MGS4 was, thats how Tales of Vesperia was, and thats how Star Ocean is.

Its just how things work. For my part I don't want Star Ocean to go to PS3, despite me having one BUT! Listen to me now--

As a 360 owner this would defeat the purpose of my owning a 360. Likewise, having MGS4 come to another console would no doubt defeat the purpose for many PS3 owners getting a PS3 over 360 as well. If there was a Tales of PS3 game released on PS3 only, you can bet I'd want it to stay exclusive. If it came to 360, I'd be pis*ed off like I'd be if Vesperia went to PS3.

Thats where owning all 3 consoles come in. Not everybody can do that. So naturally, theres gonna be alot of tooth and nail fights in gaming discussions about the possibility of whatever coming to whatever system. For my part, I want and hope that Versus stays PS3 only and Kingdom Hearts 3 comes to PS3. 

So you understand where I'm coming from - If you dislike people posting in the Sony forum in vsXIII or MGS4 threads that are pro-360, then feel free to do whatever you like with them (however, I'd argue the general gaming discussion should be where general topics about a game, and it's exclusivity should go).

If Playstation 3 owners want to hope/pray that SO4 comes their way, it's fine - thats their choice, but for the love of Little Baby Jesus, don't do it in a topic that wasn't meant for it. As an up-and-coming 360 owner, Seraphic, wouldn't you rather have a discussion about what your actually going to play rather than it being derailed from Post-1 that contains nothing about the actual game?

And you must remember: as Darc_Requiem said, we do get this all the time. It's not *just* Star Ocean 4. It's been Infinite Undiscovery, Tales of Vesperia, Mistwalker titles, Gears of War, Mass Effect, and others. It's very fusterating when you want to talk about a game, an interview, or a concept, only to have it ruined by people that may never get the game because it's not on the system they own.
