Give me a good list if exclusives you are going to buy for your Playstation 3 in 2009, and what you bought in 2008. I'll gladly list what my meager budget bought me for exclusives.

Otherwise, it's not trolling - we are in a 360 thread, and this is my 4th or 5th post in here.

 

No, that was trolling, big time, I can't believe you're still a mod with all your trolling.

I can't believe that you actually think I mod. I don't. I have the mod title because:

  • I helped create the prediction league
  • I post news articles such as XBLA data
  • I was one of the first members of VGC

That's it. I use my mod power maybe twice a week, and 90% of the time, it's to lock/sticky threads. I rarely ban people (I'd argue I use it the least of any mod). If VGC staff wanted to take away my mod title, it's entirely fine.

What burns me up is that this thread, like every 360 thread, got hijacked by the Sony Defense Force of people that don't care about the 360, and only want to post 'can't wait till it comes on the PS3' and cling to all kinds of baseless hopes - that they argue are sound. That's what leads me to get upset. As a mod, I could ban them, but that'd be unfair, wouldn't it? So what am I supposed to do? Vent my fusterations over a fanbase that hates the 360 more than they love their own system? Or do something else?

No. I don't like it when X360 owners cling to MGS4 coming to the 360.

Remember what Square Enix said about needing 2-3 million sellers? Yeah, that's not going to happen with a 360-exclusive JRPG.

There. That's my problem. We try to have a reasonable discussion about the merits of the interview, and it gets turned in to (from the VERY FIRST REPLY) into a 'it needs to come out on PS3' thread. Not a discussion of the interview, but a lot of PS3 fans jumping in on either attacking the game, or saying they'll wait till it comes to the PS3.

And therein lies my problem: We can't have a reasonable discussion as 360 owners that actually have a chance of buying the game, but rather Sony hopefulls that will either deride the game since it's not on their system, or discussion about how it needs to come to their system. I dont think, as a 360 fan/owner, that it's really justifiable that every thread gets derailed.

There. That's why I 'troll' on a X360 post (also, if I was trolling, doesn't that mean I make a 1-off dumb statement and not back it up? Maybe we're thinking trolling is a totally different thing). There have been a total of 8-9 Xbox 360 owners talking about the game in this thread, and 9-10 PS4 owners talking about wanting it to come to the PS3, attacking, me, or generally posting about the Playstation 3......Is that really nessicary for a X360 exclusive game?

Why is it that more Sony fans are posting in this thread in the Microsoft forum than X360 fans? Please think about that before you attack me, or claim I'm a troll, flamer, ect. This is the Microsoft, Xbox 360 forum.

You make alot of valid points, but the fact still stands it goes both ways, when Versus XIII is talked about guess what happens with the Xbox 360s owners? mmhmm you guessed it.

Basicly people dont want to miss out on the fun and thats all it comes down to.

I jumped in for Star Ocean 4 because even with the chance of a PS3 port later down the road i dont want to wait because well i just dont want to lol, but thats MY OPINION and CHOICE if others DO NOT WANT to buy an Xbox 360 and wait for a PS3 port who are YOU to try and stop them? you just cant simple as that.

I agree to some degree of what you're saying though about the "derail" thing, but you gotta keep in mind, this continues to happen to MGS4 and rarely but sometimes it happens to Versus XIII aswell, i can quote quite a high number of X360 only owners saying how much they want MGS4 or Versus XIII and Cant wait for there PORT of the game even though theres almost no chance of a port at all. but nobody can stop them because its there choice. so take that as you will.

I guess its understandable if you look at it this way... "PlayStation 3 owners want So4 but at the moment its Only on Xbox 360, so what should a PS3 only owner do? "Wish/Wait for a SO4 port to the PS3 or Buy the cheapst SKU model and only buy So4 ending up @ 260 dollars or a lil more" now for Xbox 360 only owners things get ...not good... "Xbox 360 owners want Versus XIII and/or MGS4 but at the moment its Only on PlayStation 3 so what should a X360 owner do? "Wish/Wait for a Port of MGS4 and/or Versus XIII or Buy a PS3 Model which will be around 460 Dollars or more."

Thats why Xbox 360 only owners are more bitter then PS3 owners when it comes to exclusives and where they go, in the end its the X360 only owners atm who have to rank up more cash then the PS3 owners, then again some PS3 only owners just dont want to own a 360 for whatever reasons they may be therefore it becomes an issuse.

Well thats my opinion on the subject, but like i said dont throw me in the fray with them, i made a jump in for Star Ocean 4 because I GO WHERE MY FAVE GAMES GO, and if it means becoming a Dual-HD console owner then so be it, i'll never buy a Wii though.
