As far as I know this game is Multiplat. But IGN have had extensive hands on with the 360 version of the game. I have to say this looks like it's shaping to be a must have title of 2009. Graphics are also shaping up very nicely as well.

IGN are very positive for the game:

This game is surprising me. I didn't think it would look this good. I never played the orignial but I heard great things so I will be picking this up apon release.

When is this coming out?

I heard an interview with the guys making this on 1upFM and it sounds really awesome, and it looks like it's shaping up really well. I heard great things about the original so I may very well pick this up.

For anyone that doesn't know it's a remake of the Xbox title Escape from Butcher Bay, with a bunch of additional content, more levels, weapons, ect ect. The original got really good reviews and great fan reactions but little in the way of sales. They weren't green lighted to make a full sequel because the fanbase of the original was too small, but they got greenlighted to do a remake the original for modern consoles to try and expand the fanbase. Vin Diesel (love him or hate him as an actor) is actually a hardcore gamer and D&D player like any nerd here and has been very involved with the game because he's very much pro-gaming as an art form and wants the medium to succeed on more than just teenage entertainment level.

I might actually buy this, it looks and sounds like it's really awesome.

That's interesting news about Vin Diesel. I really don't like him much in the few movies I've seen with him in them but that's cool about him and this game. I don't know jack shit about the first game so now I have something else to look into.

This looks great! Definitely an example of an HD game that uses its' high-end graphics to expand the atmosphere. I loved the original on Xbox--in fact, my only complaints were that it was too short and there was no multiplayer. This seems to be addressing both of those issues and then some, so I may have to pick this up.

EFBB was one of my fav Xbox games, this looks even better. Can't wait.
The fact it's a prequal to Pitch Black helps it as well.

I played Escape from Butcher Buy on my PC and it was really great.
Will buy this day 1

This game was one of my xbox favourites. Day 1 buy for me. One of the best looking xbox game, can't wait to see what they do with this.
