I heard an interview with the guys making this on 1upFM and it sounds really awesome, and it looks like it's shaping up really well. I heard great things about the original so I may very well pick this up.
For anyone that doesn't know it's a remake of the Xbox title Escape from Butcher Bay, with a bunch of additional content, more levels, weapons, ect ect. The original got really good reviews and great fan reactions but little in the way of sales. They weren't green lighted to make a full sequel because the fanbase of the original was too small, but they got greenlighted to do a remake the original for modern consoles to try and expand the fanbase. Vin Diesel (love him or hate him as an actor) is actually a hardcore gamer and D&D player like any nerd here and has been very involved with the game because he's very much pro-gaming as an art form and wants the medium to succeed on more than just teenage entertainment level.
I might actually buy this, it looks and sounds like it's really awesome.
