@jinova, congrats on your purchase. btw u mentioned thinking about "tales of vesperia", get it. its a great rpg game, also pls get "lost odyssey". its the best rpg this gen by far, the story is great and the dlc is very nice too, u wont regret your purchase on the game should u take the plunge.

Nice bunch of games you got there. You should get Left 4 Dead, I had a great time with that at a friends place. I would have thought you'd get Oblivion on PS3, cos it has that extra content. (Did the 360 get this content for DLC eventually? I dunno) Good game regardless. Nice purchase, you should be happy with it. :)

If you're talking about the $30 HDD deal on xbox.com, he has a Xbox 360 with a Jasper chip, so his 360 has internal memory included.

The offer is only for Core and Arcade without internal memory.

I had been thinking of getting Oblivion for PS3. When I bought the 360 the games I picked up with it were kinda impulse buys.

If you're going to get Oblivion, get it for 360 or PC.  The PS3 version was sub par.  And if you like those kinds of games, for god's sake, get Fallout 3.  It is terrific.

Nice to hear another "old gamer" is on the forums.  My son is way too little yet to be gaming with me, but I hope he wants to when he gets older like your kids do.  I think we're coming into a unique time in gaming, because people that are parents now grew up playing video games.  MY parents certainly did not.  In some ways that was good:  they never knew enough about the games to tell me I wasn't allowed to play them.  But it was also bad because they couldn't understand why I enjoyed gaming and messing with computers so much.  It is kind of funny though, whenever my parents come to visit, my dad always wants to challenge me to a couple of rounds of Tiger Woods.

You are right, I do see alot of parents that play games with there children because they grew up playing games. My parents watched my brother and I play, and they would try the easy games like Frogger or something but they never really got into it.

Sometime last year when I was still playing WOW, my guild was waiting for a raid to start. I just happened to notice that at that point, my whole family was gaming at the same time. I was on WOW, my oldest and youngest were playing Guitar Hero 3 together, my wife was playing Guild Wars on her pc, and the middle son was in his room playing Halo (i think). I typed in Guild chat "OMG at this time everyone in my family is playing a video game of some sort". "What a bunch of geeks we are".  My guild thought that was pretty cool though. Good times.

Welcome...but why so negative? You finally caved and bought a cheap 360 Jasper full with games?

Well,hold on...I could finally cave and buy a ps3,but you don`t see me with 400$ in my hands,do you?

In other words,enjoy the 360,it`s a great machine like the ps3,but just not that expensive.
