Yea, why not. The 360 is so cheap now that every gamer should go get one.

Thats a good question Munkeh. When I go Gold, I will probably wanna join in with my kids gaming sessions, so Xbox will get priority there. I didnt mention that my 19 year that has left the nest also has a 360, so it would be nice for us all to play together. Achievements vs Trophies......that might get tough lol. |
Yeah, playing with friends and family is the main factor for me. My brother prefers PS3, and most of my friends have PS3s, so I do get most multi player games on PS3, especially as I only get gold at certain times (for Gears of War!). Thank god for trophies, otherwise I would be getting every game on 360!
You made a great deal with Crackdown.
Trophies are cool, but I think I'll stick with achievements. I already have so many of them (currently over 36000 - yeah my sig isn't up to date) and I love to see the progress every day (well almost every day). So I'm only going to buy the PS3 exclusives and all other games on my 360.

Well, for newer Xbox owners, there is not so much of that difference. I do have 3000 trophy points compared to 10,000 achievements, but I still want to get trophies as much as I want to get achievements

Ur wife is a RPG Fan eh? She will love Fable 2!
congrats. you just b ought the best console this generaation along with the best and highest rated library to offer.
Congrats on the whole xbox family, that is pretty neat. I bet you guys will enjoy parting up and using the photo sharing option.
After getting the neflix account my xbox gets used for office episodes every night. To play Gears or L4D I have to wait until 1:00 am to start.

But its totally his system and he keeps it in his room. I go in and play some split screen COD or play sports games with him from time to time but thats about it. I dont care much for sitting on the bed playing games lol. I like to lie down on the couch like a bum. Sooooo, I was at Best Buy the other day and on a whim I said "screw it" and picked up an Arcade bundle. I also picked up Gears of War 1, Oblivion, Ninja Gaiden 2, and Crackdown. I will pick up a HDD later and maybe upgrade to Live Gold. Tales of Vesperia is looking pretty tempting as well. My PS3 will still get most of my lovin, but the Xbox exclusive list is too good to ignore for this old gamer. |
Just go on xbox.com and do the hd upgrade program. All arcade owners can do this and for 29.99 you get a 20GB drive and 3 months of live. I already did it twice as a friend gave me his arcade and another friend had an arcade but didn't want to do the program. Sold his hard drive for 10 bucks more and got 3 months of xbox live on top...
I think you need to own all 3 consoles this generation. It's a smart move.
Off topic slightly, anyone know how to get mp3's on the 360 hard drive. It's driving me crazy. I know it can play mp3's off of a cdrw, but I can't figure out how to copy them to the hd.
Thanks for the input, Jeff.
