Well since sony already have motion controls i figure that you would mean something more excessive. Well if it's done right it could be nice. I just don't want the waggle thing the wii is. Proper motion controls =/= wiis motion controls.

It's smaller and it will have upgrades in graphics over the ps3 ? It'll bundle with a fun to play game for everyone..

Well obviously i think it could potentially be very nice. Though i would worry a little if it was done properly or what. Besides there is a huge difference between "minimalistic upgrades" the wii has over the game cube, and what the ps3 and hence the ps4 would be capable off. The thing is that with more sofisticated hardware comes better everything. Better hardware= better possibilities for the AI, animation, atmosphere, engines working together, less loading, more things on screen, more individual actions, advanced gameplay etc. It simply gives you more options which is good.

I'm so NOT watching The Ring on Holo-TV, just imagining that creepy girl coming out of my TV for real gives me chills down my back!

 Odds are I would stop caring about consoles and realign my interests with PC gaming. I dislike motion controls so I would rather not pay to do something I dislike.

As long as they're allowing to use the 360 and Dualshock 3 controller I have no problems

when the wii started selling like crazy, i wrote somewhere that i didn't want sony or ms to take the nintendo business model (for success).

that being said, the graphics are pretty amazing as it is on the current HD consoles. so even a small bump (same vein as gamecube to wii) would be pretty awesome.

i have all the systems this gen so will probably do the same for next gen (in the same order ps4 > newii > 720).

The thing is there's a game for everyone on the Wii, action adventure your thing? Zelda, Okami.  Like shooters? Medal of Honor Heroes 2 and Call of Duty WaW both with controls you can't get on a normal console.  Third person shooter? Resident Evil 4.  Light gun?  Medal of Honor Heroes 2, House of the Dead 2&3 and soon Overkill. Action game?  Mad World, No More Heroes, Bully.  Platformer? Mario Galaxy, De Blob. Fighting? Smash Bros Brawl, Mortal Kombat, Castlevania Judgement, Tatsunoko vs Capcom. Puzzle? Boom Blox.  Racing?  Mario Kart, Excite Truck.  Sports? Mario Strikers, PES 2008 with unique Wii controls that are not "waggle" it impoves gameplay, Tiger Woods, MLB Power Pros, Madden 2009.  Party? LOL.  

Really man what more do you want?  There's a huge list of games right there, and most don't "waggle", see waggle was made by developers that don't want to go through the trouble of making unique Wii controls, but the guys that put forth the effort to make games that typically control better then any traditional dual analog game.  So please refrain from saying Wii adds nothing but waggle... it's trolling... as I just gave a list of games and many don't "waggle"... They use motion controls to improve the games not replace a button press with a motion...

OT:  BTW there already is a PS3 motion controller, there's a thread on it, it had a video of it hitting a ball around a room with a paddle, playing baseball, etc.  So kinda it's a good idea of what you could get with next gen to go along with frybreads question.
