Books and movies should have stories. Games should have fun gameplay.

Not to say a game can't have a story but that's not the essence of what a game is. Where would we be today without Pac-man and Space Invaders?

Haha, I agree, Mario Sunshine's story was so bad I was embarrassed to watch it - and I was the only one in the room.

One of my favorite things about Super Mario Galaxy is that its little prince ripoff storyline is entirely optional.

all sport games,such as FIFA and NBA,got no story so that means all of them should not be called as games.

People who wrote this "article" are just really sad and bitter, i dont really know why they take this issue so Serious, Wii sports is a good game (and  good sports games do not need story, look at all the sports games like Madden or Fifa or even games like Gran Turismo)  they just trying to find another reason why wii is not "HARDCORE".

Its not like anyone forces the "HARDCORE" to play wii sports.

I would choose tetris over any other game today if I were alone in a island.
