LOL, we're street!!!!

Sounds like Sess. Who said that, Sess?

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Also, for some reason, this Wii Sports story has legs. Nobody is even questioning our credibility for once!

Actually, it was Blair Herter from Road Rules fame (or infamy).

You must have missed that Joystiq story. (or did it on purpose)

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

That's awesome. The site does a great job of not only stat crunching but also moderating threads. It also has a more mature vibe than the other gaming forums. I would frequent the site for a while for info and such but mostly to read the posts, before finally joining. I think the shout out on X-play is well deserved.

Cheers.

I think that the average VGC user is overall more intelligent than most sites out there (VG sites). This can be partly because stupid people dont understand numbers, how vgc gets them, or why they even matter. They tend to say things like "Why do you alls care bout sales!!! I just play my games on my (HD console of choice) that I like, sales are for nerdz"

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Who actually uses nerdz (or nerds) in an online forum, or anywhere in 2009? I can see geek, geeky, even nerdy, but not nerdz (nerds).

BAM! There it is!

Wii Code 3456 7941 4060 2924
COD MW Reflex 541192229709

Well advertising is a good place to start. Generating revenue will produce more credibility and attract greater attention from distributors or whoever is dealt with when gathering estimates.

The toughest job is shaking the online forum crap about vgchartz authenticity. Ofcourse thats irrelevent if vg is the only game in town for week on week sales.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

The force is strong with vgchartz....

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD
