People hate because the PS3 is the best console out today

Unfortunately, it seems that for many, it is primitive human nature to have to choose a side and fight tooth and nail against anything that is different from their side.  It goes for sports, politics, religion and evidentally and unfortunately...gaming too.

It is obvious that it is not just "Sony hate" going on here, but rather a large part of the gaming community that is picking a side and stubbornly defending it and also ruthlessly and thoughtlessly attacking the others.   This is in disregard to all the different avenues the separate gaming platforms bring to the table for all of us to enjoy.  There are great gaming experiences on each and every console available, past and present, that every one of us could enjoy if we were able to set the petty bickering of the "my team" mentality aside and just enjoy the games.

Gamers shouldn't have to choose sides and set up camp.  If people want to call themselves gamers,  they should be into trying out all games, giving all the platforms and diverse gaming genres a try.  With an open mind I might add.

I could go on for a while illustrating the point, but its pretty obvious to alot of us what I'm saying here(unfortunately, not to everyone).  Instead, I'll close by saying...

The console war?  What console war?  It exists only in the minds of a small population, the narrow minded in the gaming community that are missing the big picture, and the best gaming has to offer.

Come on dude, lets be realistic here , the only real top game from that list is God of war, and its up against.............

Sega OWNS sony in the 1st party department and that is a FACT.

I think you are right with this point. But sony did buy some major studios in their ps1 and ps2 era. When they entered the market however, they did nothave any...and using the deep pockets they purchased the likes of Naughty dog(who made 3DO and genesis games before), Psygnosis (did Genesis and Snes), Zipper Interactive (PC games), Guerrila Games, Eidetic (symphon filter)...

They also bought 3rd part exclusives like crazy back in the ps1 days. Toshiden was boguht by sony to counter virtua fighter. Ridge Racer to counter daytona...etc. I think this is what Ronster 316 is reffering to...

In any case they do have their home grown studios at this point tho...

If God of War is the only "top" game I listed then the only top games that Sega ever developed were Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution, Panzer Dragoon Saga and Crush. I'm a Sega fan and I fire up my Genesis and Dreamcast every other day (in addition to the Sega ROMs i play). Take off the rose tinted shades and stop with the mindless Sony hating.

PS. Sega did not develop several of the games you listed such as Condemned and Vectorman

 I think your wrong.............. and i have only mentioned about 50% of the franchises that SEGA OWN.

Can sony say the same thing?........................... NO

^^Blue Sky was sega owned second party studio and they did Vectorman 1 and 2. so lets give tha tone to sega...Condemned had nothing to do with sega.
