Markus-PC. The shots were taken in 1080p resolution (using 4xMSAA) and scaled down to 720p for web release. We are only releasing a few shots, and we wanted these to be usable for print purposes as well, therefore the higher resolution. The game looks very good on Xbox360 too but only runs in 720p.

I sense a lot of disappointed people when console version hits the shops.

I think it's funny that so many people think it will look so much worse on the 360.
Play Far Cry 2, GTA IV or Bioshock on PC and then afterwards on the 360.
The most differences are so small, you probably won't notice them if you don't play those games simultaneously on 2 monitors. (And I know this, because I played all of them on my 360 and on my brother's high end PC)

Actually....no. As much as it would make a fine addition to the PS3 line up it just doesnt look like it is going to happen. I am interested in the game though. I thought I would change things up a bit by posting some positive 360 exclusive news. Is that a crime?

Far Cry 2, GTAIV and Bioshock don't stand for Crysis or Alan Wake graphics. And 360 version shall not look "much worse", simply won't stand for the PC...

I have a feeling both this and heavy rain will be huge flop from a sales standpoint.

The 360 fanbase has done nothing to prove to me they would buy this kind of game.



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
