I wonder if it'll pass the 9 million mark by the end of January. Just insane given how much (perceived) momentum the PS3 had by the end of August.

Really crazy what a price cut did, Sony's hand will most probably be forced into a price cut sooner rather then later. All those software sales are leaking away from them, people do need a PS3 to play PS3 games (crazy) so Sony need to get PS3's into homes and FAST.

PS3 vs. 360 is probably far from over.

Microsoft has the rumored "Valhalla" in works.

Sony has more leverage with price.

Also, no hints about next generation consoles.
