Does anyone know what the LTD sales of the Singstar franchise is thus far? This website has very incomplete sales with some Singstar games without NA sales, EU sales etc.

So that is 12 million sales for games of that franchise since since May 08 just in PAL regions which I am really shocked by. I never thought of the franchise being big at all but it seems to be quite a monster. Singstar games sell best in PAL regions to my understanding but even since then Singstar Abba has sold 0.77m in no time.

With all that said, do you think Singstar franchise has reached 20 million sales worldwide? Looking at the numbers I would think so, official numbers would be great though. :D

Yeah Singstar is kind of popular in Europe. That's why you will see a lot of different versions in Europe =p.

It sure is, must be making a bundle of money for Sony as well especially with that rip off online store. Along with Home Sony London studios must be the one bringing in the most money for Sony.

Singstar is at 1milion+ sales for it's PS3 versions (vol1,2,3,abba) already ...

I think it would make sense to combine the versions sales/profile pages here at vgchartz, because essentially they are the same game and you can dl the songs that are not on the disc you bought. The situation for the PS3 versions is similar to the Pokèmon games in that aspect in my opinion.

Singstar was a huge casual title in the ps2 era, and seems like it still is.

A new 'next gen' Singstar for the PS3 with a new interface, wireless headphones etc would not be a bad idea, so far the PS3 versions are just rehashes.

Singstar is a monster here, I know girls that own a PS2 and about seven versions of Singstar, but nothing else. I'd believe that the sales of the franchise are at about 20 million.

The only wish i have for Singstar PS3 is that i would really want them to get the Bluetooth Microphones asap as having to be wired can be a pain sometimes!

Problem with tracking the Singstar is its regional versions. They are practically impossible to track by VGC. So yeah, 20M wouldn't surprise a bit, although considering the time it took to reach 12M, it sounds unlikely it would have sold 8M in 8 months.

Headphones in Singstar? Ehh... Best way to blow out the whole idea.
