Terrible idea. All it would do is promote spamming in order to reach the designated post count, and mods are generally not spammers.

I am not in favor of this idea. If the site needs more mods, ioi will surely assign them.

As it is, I think the mods are already doing a nice job. Have you been to chaotic forums where people have something *nice* to say to your relatives to the nth degree?

I am, however, concerned when bans occur when people "insult" consoles, which some easily label as trolling, with less considerations whether it has merit or not.

Now just imagine giving powers to high-post fanboy (I really hate to use this term, as I myself am a fanboy). Any slights made to his favorite console and he'll be spewing fire and brimstone, citing trolling. How can mods argue with him, then?
