A suggestion for an improvement to the site.

The mods cannot be everywhere, and there is no guarentee that there will always be a mod online. This is quite unfortunate when there is a new user who decides to post distasteful images all over the site.

I propose that the power be given to all VGcharterz with more than a certain number of posts (maybe 1000 or 2000) to give 1 day bans to other forum members. With the proviso that any bans given out in this way are recorded for the actual mods to review. Anyone who abuses these powers gets banned themselves (for much more than a day)

What do the mods have to say about this? If you think it would lead to chaos or is unnecessary then say so, and I shall speak no more of it

A lot of people have 1000 posts though, this makes a shedload of mods. How about, anyone with over say....5500 posts?

Might be a good idea, but even if it's not, it could result in hilarity. I'm for it!

I think well over 5000 posts should be the benchmark.

I think it's a reasonable idea but i wonder how often it would be useful versus how often it could be abused. I've been coming to this site for nearly 2 years and it's the first time i've seen a situation like this. Has it happened before?
