Unreal Tournament on the PC was huge because of the massive quantities of fan made content; Unreal Tournament 2003 was no where near as popular because fan content was less common and many gamers did not think the game was as good as the original. Unreal Tournament 3 may do well but I suspect the majority of fans will continue to play it on the PC.

 

I dont expect it to outsell the PC version that would just be crazy talk.But i do expect it sell better than the last console UT because it will have a better name on consoles and its Christmas.

 


Considering the hype both Epic and Sony are giving this title on the PS3 and the money Sony invested into optimizing it. I can definitely see it selling very well. Sony are putting a lot of resources into UT3, Epic are putting a lot of time into delivering the best experience a console can offer for this sort of game. I really hope it sells really well, it definitely deserves to.

I think the PSP will be the most profitable this holiday season and with the PS3 and PS2 following behind. Because this is the holiday Sony is bringing out the software not only for the PSP but also for the PS3. So they go alot FF:Crisis Core is a must-have in my deal. Alot is going on and I'm tuning in this holiday season for those games!

UT3 will sell because : It allready made himself a name in the console/PC gaming comunities , and it comes from the directors of that game ... you know , with some boots and some war :P ( I know joystiq joke ) . It will count a lot this holiday , and its the only game that has any chance against Halo3s hype . I expect it selling more than MP3 .

I agree with everybody else around here 1- PSP, 2- PS3 and 3- PS2. The margin between the PS3 and PS2 sales is getting smaller and in some countries the PS3 is even outselling the PS2. Since the PS3 has a few top titles scheduled to release around the holidays and assumedly a price drop worldwide, I don't see any reason why the PS3 will step away from the PS2 and start selling more in most of all throughout Europe and America. About Japan I'm not so sure concerning the battle between the PS2 and PS3... it really depends on what they'll get for releases, but as far as it looks like right now, Japan is having it's worst Playstation schedule for the holidays ever. Though, I assume this will change as soon as the Tokyo Game Show arrives. Of course the PSP will sell the most in Japan as well.
