BTW WiiMusic still hangin there, Inazuma Eleven too
Wagamama and Rythm Heaven legs are incredible ( AC DS too but we already know that ).
Taiko no Tatsujin is becoming one of the most succesfull third-party game for Wii in Japan an Hudson Joysound is doing great considering the fee to play it .

Capcom and Nintendi Wiimake are free money for the respective company.

Next week sales for WKC should be better, since it sold out this week.

Wasn't 250K the first shipment ? I think next week sales for WKC will be lower than launch week.

Well the PS3 sold almost 10k less then this week last year with even the sales of WKC not really helping it much. But without those sales you would have to say it could of been alot worse. The sales of WKC i think are pretty decent for a new game in Japan. 200k is great. Of course people can argue it has a bigger instal base to sell to but if you look at games on the PS3 and 360 in Japan in 08 not many have sold 200k in 7 days. So that is a good feat. Question then becomes how well will it do not only in its second week but how well in the rest of the world? Reviews thus far are pretty awful really. I expect the game to sell at least more then Blue Dragon.

The worrying thing though is what will happen in the next few months for all the consoles but more importantly the PS3. In just under a month the 360 has sold over 1.6m units more then the PS3 and that is with still 2 more weeks of data left for 2008. You would expect that gap to increase to about 1.8m or even 2m. Then when we enter into the after holiday sales period when everything is quiet things could go from bad to worse what with the current climate. This was Sony's Japan game and while it has done well individually it has not shifted consoles. Their are no games now on the radar for 2009 for the japanese market with GT5 coming 2010 and FFXIII being probably late 2010. The only real game i can see is Star Ocean but again we dont know the details of the exclusivity deal, it might not even come out at all on PS3.

So the Japanese market for 09 i think will see a nice lift for RE5,SF4 and SO4 but after that you would expect the numbers to fall fast.

Couldn't really believe/guess what Others Peoples doing with their PSP?

I mean attach ratios of ~1? That's really damn low although ISO's do really hurt the sales afterall...

So in all of this where's Slimebeast and his prediction that WKC would top 180.ooo at highest lol.

I read these really amusing comments regarding WKC's sales being that its all thanks to the hype and HIGH anticipation of the title.

yet... the 360's JRPG had high profile compared to WKC, especially considered that for example Tales of is a somewhat respected franchise in the JRPG world... and yet a new IP, with a lower Famitsu score than most of those 350 JRPG EXCEEDs the sales of all of those is pretty interesting.

PSP software sales tracking is  very incomplete .

One example is that after Sony France numbers the PSp has sold some 8 million games in France alone ....yet we have for the whole  Others less than those 8 million .
