I think Sony should be really worried. WKC did very good in my opinion with 200k+ software sales, third biggest opening yet for a PS3 game BUT....

Hardware sales, 48k, an increase with just 9k from last week, not even reaching 50k and this with a big new software debut and in one of the biggest weeks of the year. That is really bad in my opinion. To compare Wii saw a 31k increase from last week with no new big software realease. Sony just can´t seem to get a break in Japan anymore.

Wait, this is leaked Media Create sales aren´t they? Famitsu doesn´t usually leak this early or am I wrong?

Those are some awful Ps3 sales. I expected more like 70k. I though it would increase 10k alone because of the normal holiday increase.

WKC did great ,personally this game make me feeling like FFXI that i ever play years ago.(That maybe why it sell really well in Japan)
Dissidia did great as same as other FF games did.
Wii and NDS games seems to have long legs ,good job.

I think we may see PS3 sales boost next week.(Because WKC)
Xbox360 still got hard work to do in Japan.

Software, huge sales all over for both WII/DS. Lots of huge legs all around for games like WII Fit/Sports/Music, Mario Kart Wii, Animal Crossing for both WII and DS, Pokemon, Wagamama, Kirby the list goes on.

Negative: Almost nothing. Hardware sales for WII down from last year but then again most other hardware except DS is down year over year as well.

Microsoft: Postive nothing
Negative, they haven´t been able to keep the momentum going they had this autumn. They haven´t seen hardware boosts during the holidaysales and software is horrible.

Yeah, their software is pitiful. But it's what they get for being so reliant on multiplatform games and the occasional big Japan-centric exclusive.

WKC did good, too bad it didn't give a big hardware boost. But that's probably what you get with new IP's.

Next week sales for WKC should be better, since it sold out this week.

TGS this year for PS3 will be amazing.

Grandia comes to PSN(PSone classic).

Is it because of value judgement that make Xbox360 hardly sell in Japan?(Like because Wii and Sony are made in Japan and they're no interest in playing 360?)
