More Like LittleBugPlanet (Sorry, Sorry)

According to some upset posters over on the official LittleBigPlanet forums, the Metal Gear Solid DLC released for the game last week didn't just bring good times. It brought bad, content-erasing times as well.

Some users are complaining that, after purchasing the Metal Gear content, their singleplayer progress was erased. Sucky, but surmountable. Other users, however, are complaining of having their user-generated content erased by the DLC. That's...less surmountable.

This being the silly season, Media Molecule are off being silly like the rest of us, so a comment/solution/acknowledgement of this issue probably won't be with us for a day or two.

Every bug in LBP is a testament to the death of Dreamcast. ;)

Unfortunately this is going to fall on the MGS4 pack. I had this issue after 1.06 update was released, so around a week or so before the MGS4 DLC released.

I think it has more to do with the actual game updates. MM said something about this "game save" issue a week ago, they referred to it as "Game regression" and said they are working on a fix.

Was this necessary?

Man, sucks for the people that lost their levels. Can't they download them back though?
