Forums - Sony - Just finished Resistance 2,hardest Fps in long time. But easiest Final boss.

All bosses were easy, imo. Game is very hard though, why don't you try it on difficult now?

And i think R2 is worth the money too, even if you don't like the campaign, online is so awesome.

Now why don't you try CoDWaW on veteran? After you play that and go back to R2, even superhuman will be piece of cake :P

I agree, the game puts you in some sick situations some times, but it seems wierd that all the enemies seem to target you, no matter what happens and how many people you are with.

And all of the bosses are pretty easy, which is a shame.

@Kantor, Well the co-op is based on just that, it has to be co-operative :P Changing weapons should really be limited to a spec-ops type class. If your the soldier, and your not shielding your allies, well... your not being a very good soldier... if your medic, and you don't have your healing rifle... well let's just say those parties don't end well :D You do get secondary weapons as you level however, and many of them benefit the class in which they're given to :P Overall I've found the co-op to be almost too amazing @_@ It's taking up all my damn time!!!

From 0 to KICKASS in .stupid seconds.

Damn, I still haven't gotten my hands on this game...

That was my biggest problem with the game. The ending was definitely different and worth the price of admission though.

Absolutely, now I am stoked to see how they will do the next game!

So it's not just me, I've always thought the Resistance games were more challenging than the average FPS. Haven't finished the SP mode yet but I plan to.

Ya my only issue with the game was the fact that your allies were ignored a lot of the time as if the chimeara knew it was you who blew up their base of operation in england XD

It was a little odd that your squad was worthless.  They wouldn't draw fire or really help you in any meaningful way.  I wonder why IG even included the squad in the single player.  Maybe they are still planning on including cooperative play for the campaign?

Thanks for the input, Jeff.

I think it was to remove the whole feeling of "lone warrior" that you get in some shooters... however, as you said the squad were pretty useless in many ways. Especially when it came to drawing fire
