Forums - Sony Discussion - How to kill a PS3 Console - Is it really possible ?

PS1 has overheating problems, but you could just turn it on it's side and be fine. The PS2 had disc read errors after awhile but most of the time could be fixed with the diagnostics feature.

So far the PS3 has no problems and that's very surprising considering the technology included.

Good to know I can put my PS3 in a sauna and it won't stop working. That's awesome.

 Now I wonder if it would work in a hot spring (well next to it). lol, the air there is thick with water vapor.

 PS1 had overheating issues? I never knew that.. my PS1 never had a problem, my Genesis though.. omg.. went through 3 of them. And dont get me started about my old 360s....

Its in spannish (i think) but its stull funny if you cant understand what they are saying Watch the whole thing you wont regret it.

 No thats how you entertain the average idiot viewer.  It has nothing do with what your console will go through in its normal daily gaming life.

Thats amazing. Do you know of anywhere that has tested a 360 or Wii?

Send me a message if you want to be Wii friends.

End of 2014 Hardware Predictions (03/03/14)

PlayStation 4: 12-15million

Xbox One: 7-10 million

Wii U: 8-9 million (Changed 01/04/2014 from 7-9 --> 8-9 million)

I want someone to test the strength of the 360, PS3, and Wii by throwing them out a second story window like they did last gen.

Not fair because the Wii has a lot of hollow space...heh...

ssj12 i think we can agree the Wii would shatter,The X360 would bounce and snap and the PS3 would cause an earthquake because it's just that heavy.

Cool... It's good that there's a console which doesn't have problems with red rings and flying remotes)

 Just wait until the PSN bowling game comes out that uses the six axis.

To cash in my CC rewards points for $300 in Circuit City gift cards to purchase a 360 or not: That is the question.
