The first 2 gof of wars sold between 2.3-3.2 million copies, on the PS2.
God of War is more less a hardcore series so it should probably sell 2.5 million but honestly even if there is a lot of hype I really doubt that it will get to 3 million. The only possible way would be that Sony pushes it more than any other game during next year, through bundles or through the best hits line.
I`m expecting, if launched durind Q4 2009, 1.5-2 million till the end of 09, with about 500k copies sold during the rest of its lifetime. Many gamers bought the first 2 because of the gore, and many of those people were casual gamers, people that won`t spend more than $200 to play that game.

The final fantasies, gran turismo and probably killzone 2 are a given, the other games no way.

 

The only thing that can stop GoW III from reaching 3 milions would be sudden appearance of next gen machines. This game is going to sell for years and will also have zylions of bundles and platinum/best of edition later.

Killzone 2 - Not sure, nobody that is not reading video games news heard of it, it will sell LBP like

Infamous - No, will be too short, heavenly sword like reviews, heavenly sword like sales

Heavy Rain - No, even gamers do not agree about it (I think it will rock) so the croud will not pay attention

GOW 3 - Yes, I have a good feeling on this one. Good IP, HD, press will give good reviews (feelings...), it should work

FF Versus - Yes, it's a FF.

GT5 - Yes, it's a GT

WKC - No, see Heavy Rain, but worse.

Uncharted 2 - Yes, almost everyone here will agree the first one is in the top 3 PS3 games yet. I'm pretty sure the sequel will sell to almost everyone bought the first plus a bunch of new people attracted by the good reviews it will get.

They're both exclusive spin-offs of a main line Final Fantasy to platforms notorious for poor software sales.One can only be so optimistic as the facts allow.

I didn't say it wouldn't, I said it would sell over 3 million including bundles, of all the titles the TC listed it's the only one that will.
