Why is there little love for Final Fantasy IX. I don't get it.

It is the composer's favorite game music!

Here is a very good reason why FF9 wins.

You put that one in the music game, right? I hate you for that, I listened to every Chocobo theme in existence and couldn't find it (dunno why I skipped this)

PEOPLE !!!!!!!!! ARE YOU FORGETTING THE FF THEME (CRYSTALS) !!!! ITS in almost all FFs, and its great,,, its best version is of course in FFXII, it was great

Final Fantasy VIII had the best soundtrack in my opinion. Highly rememberable and enjoyable songs. I love listening to the soundtrack always.
IX comes in 2nd.

Vamo Alla Flamenco rules. The original is even better than the TBM version.
