Forums - Sony - SCE's Worst PS3 Tutorial EVER!

It would be easier if Sony had picked a button scheme that made any sort of obvious sense.

Square, Triangle, Circle, and X don't exactly make any sense at all.

Since they decided to pick something "different" and make absolutely no sense in the process (X would make sense as the universal equivilent of "B", but... it doesn't do that. And "O" would make sense as the equivilent of "A", but again... no. Brilliant), it's not common sense to think "Ah, yes. Square is the button I press to do this. Not Circle, not Triangle. Square."

I'm pretty sure if a person can't figure this out, they wouldn't know how to look up a tutorial either.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

Well if the instructions are nowhere to be seen, a tutorial is indeed needed. Of course it would be much better to put the instructions on-screen.

The instructions ARE right on screen, press triangle for options, scroll to change visualiser and it will say [_]

As Kantor said, they ARE on the screen.

Don't get me wrong, I know people ARE this stupid.  My point is that someone who can't figure it out on their own wouldn't be smart enough to look.  They would just ask somebody they know who is slightly more tech-savvy.
