So your selling it because the wii and 360 are selling better?.........what type of gamer are you?

I don't own a PS3 but if I did I would keep it just for Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2, and whatever Team Ico has up their sleeve.
@Legend
I bet you would keep it for more than just those games..idk why he is selling his, I guess he doesnt buy many games for it, and mainly 360 games.

For you perhaps. But Killzone 2 is just another FPS, GT5 is only if you like Hardcore Racing games(it will be a good purchase), GoW3 should be fun, FF V XIII is at least 2 years away for the Americas it is a spin off to the main game and probably best suited for the biggest FF fans(to date I have not played a good FF spin off game). Maybe he just likes the library of games on the Wii better. At least I hope that is why. If he doesn't than he shouldn't it woudl be a big mistake. I Know myself personally play the Wii at least 8 times more than the PS3 and it woudl be 10 times more if I didn't buy Megaman 9 at the PSN store. It is like all things a matter of taste.
Or I could just say why wouldn't he with The Conduit, Madworld, Dragon Quest X, Super Punch Out, Sin & Punishment 2, Fatal Frame 4, and other games coming out for the Wii? |
Aww, come now. You must haven't had played Dissidia: Final Fantasy or Crisis Core.
On topic: I wouldn't sell any game hardware, they all have more than enough good games to validate owning it.
No. Ya paid too much for that thing jsut to get a lot less back in return.
I can handle people trading in games but why oh why would you ever trade in such a large investment. I don't care if the thing is collecting dust... keep it.

The developers acknowledge that the Wii frankly sucks at some genres, the PS360 will never lose games to the Wii. 2) I strongly advise you don't, but if "Killzone 2, God of War III, Heavy Rain, GT5, MGS4, LBP, R2, VC" (for a full list, look in Makingmusic's thread in the Sony forum) does nothing for you, then you might want to consider trading it in. |
How does the Wii suck at certain genres? If the Wii sucks at certain genres, are you saying the XBox, PS2, and Gamecube also suck at those genres or is because of something other than power?
Personally, I blame the developers for making the bad games of whatever genre, not so much the Wii.
Also, I would love to see what developer said that.
-edit-
And I always love the people that list off games like the OP has never actually heard of those games. I agree with the people that think selling a console to buy another console is in general a silly idea but why do you care so much if he wants to make that decision?
It's just fun to watch the people that are so insecure with their purchases.
i don't see why not. the ps3 could give more than 200 bucks back, and that's a lot of money. seems like a profitable situation.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is the best Zelda title ever made.

Yes.

Well, I bought my PS3 in January 2007 for $599.99 because I thought all of the great game series that were on the other Playstations would come to the PS3 exclusively and that it would take over the market, because I thought the Wii would fare like the past two Nintendo consoles and it was something I could do without until it had a pricedrop and maybe showed that it could get some rpgs unlike the GC and N64 which had very few in comparison. And I couldn't find a Wii in my local stores plus I thought at best the Wii was going to just turn into a good console for younger gamers.
Then, the 360 received Assassin's Creed (which was supposed to be a PS3 exclusive) then Devil May Cry 4 was announced then RE5. Then at E32008 it was announced that the 360 (I've had one since March '06) would be getting Final Fantasy XIII while the Wii has just totally been dominating the market. In addition to the games I mentioned earlier, I am interested in Mad World and No More Heroes and the rumored Suda 51 / Kojima Snatcher remake. Plus the upcoming Zelda and Mario. Then it was announced that LA Noire was coming to the 360. I haven't purchased MGS 4 yet but I think it will probably appear on the 360 by the end of '09. The exclusive dlc for 360 Fallout 3 and GTA IV among others whereas the PS3 versions were buggy at release. Finally, the thing that has really put a wound in my relationship with PS3 is the fact that as said earlier mine won't connect to my DSL, so I can't enjoy the free online facets of games like Killzone 2 or Home or Little Big Planet.
The one reason I would keep my PS3 at this point is for the blu-ray, but I have an Oppo dvd player which provides excellent playback from normal dvds.
Heavens to Murgatoids.
No PSN, no LBP, No MGS4, no anything....no wonder you want to sell the thing.
I suggest fixing your connection problem before you sell it. Also L.A NOIRE was never annoucned for the 360, and MGS4 was never announced for the 360.
