Who listens to reviews for JRPGs anyway? I mean they're nice but they're not a deciding factor for me IMO. If it looks awesome...and WKC does...it's worth buying.

Well, certainly not any Tales fan. You'd be hating life to know that they are all mediorce.

;)

Tales games are not mediocre.  Not breaking new ground=/=mediocre.  Even reviewers think polish and enjoyability>innovation.  Look at how well recieved ToV was by reviewers.

Oh come now. You realize what I said was a joke. Right?

Tales of Vesperia is far better than L4D, Gears 1 and 2, Fallout 3, Obvilion, Halo 3, CoD4, etc. I love it and only LO is better imo.

@Akuma so basically people giving their opinion about a game are dumb. I've got news for you, I trust gamers more as they're not being paid off. Plus those same dumb Amazon people were pretty damn right about Dragon Quest Swords, which, by the way, sucked.

Calling WKC thus far the best PS3 RPG has lost every part from his so called objective preview in no time...

Read Amazon Japan comments from serious gamers and tell me again if the game sounds so great... Indeed Legend11, if they said Haze was great then they don't sound very trustworthy to me concerning WKC if you ask me.

Well if they say good things about metal gear solid you won't believe them either ? not saying this will be the next of those, but just because they make a few positive remarks about a otherwise bland game (remarks that are true none the less (for the most part) doesn't mean they are incapable of being right when they say soemthing is awesome

Here're some of the things that 1UP said about Haze in their preview of it:

"What is consistently great, however, is the gameplay and control -- it's already clear that Haze just feels right."

"Perhaps most impressive, though, is the four-player co-op gameplay."

"Maybe this will be the game to finally elevate Free Radical from "good" to "great""

So lets not get too excited just yet...

From the 1UP preview after playing the demo:

"The dialogue comes across as comical"

"Co-op play saves you from the flawed teammate A.I. computer controlled squadmates obliviously run in and out of your line of fire"

"It's all very serious and melodramatic, unfortunately, it fails to connect (the graphics, writing, and voice acting simply aren't able to draw the desired emotional reaction from the player."

"We'll have to see if it amounts to more than just a fun -- but ultimately average -- shooter."

Have you seen the user reviews of WKC that came with the soundtrack. The average review (last I checked) was between a 4-5/5.

One up is a Joke. They gave Wii Music an A. They are worst than gamepro. I think I trust Famitsu over 1up.

I can agree with the first 2. The controlls were layed out great, not perfect but fine and very responsive.

And 2 player co-op with my bro was fun, can't imagine 4.

This is what I do, screw the reviews.
I look at a trailer, gameplay etc. of this game im going to buy. If i like it, i will buy it. And when i saw that live stream of that japanese kid that got WKC early, i'm getting it, no doubt. So WKC can get the worst reviews, I will still be getting my hands on that game.

That's usually what I use to decide, the reviews = minor persuation to me. If I like what I see then I buy it. So far this method has yet to fail me. I only wish that I went with my feeling when I saw video's of Gta4...... thought the walking was lame, and the game would get dull after a bit. But hey, it was GTA, I had faith...
