Granted, but I still like having well-programmed bots. They can spice things up: you can set it up so you and your buddies fight against overwhelming numbers, for instance, or you can help the more inexperienced players by giving them better bots then you get, etc. We don't always use them, of course, but they can make many a game more fun. Hell, they extended Perfect Dark's lifetime for us by at least a year.

Oh yeah.

I played Perfect Dark with bots solo more then i did the main campaign.  I'd love to set myself against overwhelming numbers in that.

I don't get why bots aren't standard.  Even in online multiplayer games.

its really Halo that popularized the online console gaming, even in reality only small demographics do really care about it. The sales of 360 and PS3 are a proof of it. In console FPS my most favorite so far was Timesplitters future perfect, co-op mode, 4 player multiplayer splitscreen and long singleplayer dont care about online. Black even without multiplayer I like this more than COD 4 singleplayer campaign, then QoS Wii version...

end of core gaming days prediction:

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

Even Halo has split-screen multiplayer, though, so why are developers so eager to abandon it? My guess is that the blame falls squarely on this need to make things as pretty as possible, which leaves little power left for split-screen or bots. Given the option to make the game look better, or to have more longevity, most developers opt for the former. It's to our long-term loss, but since it probably leads to more sales (at least in the short run) I suppose I can't really blame them.

And yet I do.

One more thing that may play a part: rating. Movie studios have found that PG13 sells better than R, T probably sells better than M in the mass market.

LOL we're playing Timesplitters future perfect 3 player splitscreen before and the downgrade in graphics isnt noticeable. And thats the PS2, even the Wii can do better graphics so I dont know  the reason why 3rd parties didnt apply splitscreen. Atleast its slowly reviving like light gun shooters did...

I knew Nerf N-Strike will be a instant million seller, anyway we played QoS local multiplayer, and its quite fun. I dunno about Nerf n-strike but do everyone here thinks local multiplayer is the driving force with these game's legs?

8 weeks + 340k = instant million?

Why are you ruining these threads? Are you trestres in disguise just using an alt account? HAVE YOU even seen the weekly sales? its increasing every week and christmas is next week so why are you still posting? You have enough that you're pawned at the other thread so you're posting in this thread now?

isn't my sims the best selling EA wii game?

 Twilightman on Gametrailers

From weekly basis? HELL NO... Its surprising a light gun shooting game could sell as much and we're talking in NA alone...
